It is a great pleasure to announce that as I am writing this, over 1400 practitioners, scholars, and researchers in the field of human factors and ergonomics and related fields from 51 countries around the world have registered to attend, present and share their expertise at the Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics International Conference 2012 in San Francisco.
What makes these international conferences, like the AHFEI 2012, unique? Certainly there are other national conferences but none that provide the opportunity to share different perspectives and give a rich experience in dealing with the HF&E in different social, economical, cultural and geographical contexts.
There is no doubt that in this globalization, international perspective is extremely important. Take for example the company located in the Silicon Valley, with most of its people who are working for it are located in Asia.
For the people in the US, this is a unique opportunity to meet their and interact with peers at home, in one of the best locations of the world: the beautiful city of San Francisco.
We would like extend our invitation to HFE professionals in the US and particularly the important community of professionals in Silicon Valley to plan to register for the conference if you have not already done so.
Looking forward to see you soon in the Bay Area.
